About Me

In 2019, I hit rock bottom. I was completely burnt out from my job as a teacher when my mom suddenly passed away. The vulnerability and uncertainty I felt was overwhelming and I couldn’t fathom moving forward without her — so I decided I couldn’t.

But the tiny bit of strength in me and pushed my pride aside and I decided to get in-patient help. That experience opened my eyes; I realized my priorities had been way off. I valued my health, happiness, and people in my life. The things I placed on a pedestal really didn’t matter in retrospect; I wanted to feel fulfilled. So then, I made a promise to myself to make the most of this life.

The grieving process is a wild ride.

I didn’t actually begin to grieve until 2020 when lockdown began. I stayed at my parent’s house in the Philadelphia suburbs and noticed how loud her absence was; she was really gone. I realized that I was using work and schoolwork as a distraction and because of that, the loss hadn’t really sunk in. I went inward and started therapy, revisited old hobbies, and focused on my health and wellness. I tuned into podcasts started to read more non-fiction books, which eventually allowed me to discover the coaching field. I knew teaching wasn’t the finish line for me and coaching was what I was meant to do.

Taking a leap is never easy.

In Summer 2021, I completed my coaching program at The Institute of Transformational Nutrition and became a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach (CTNC) with a specialty in Mental Wellness. Today I am a Grief & Life Transitions coach for 20 & 30-somethings, meeting with clients virtually. Because our health and wellness sets the foundation, I also support my clients in caring for their mind, body, and spirit.

When not wearing my “coach” hat, I am host of The Path to Transformation Podcast, a sound healing practitioner, and speaker & workshop host.
